1986 Chevy C10 Custom step side pick up 383 Stroker 6. 3l 550 hp
I have owned this truck for over a year now and have vastly improved it
I have had exhausts custom made right through from pipecraft with flowmasters (its very loud when you need it to be), exhausts now exit to the rear in 4" pipe as it should be !
The Truck has recently had all service items changed throughout and new Gas shocks front and rear, with a recent MOT passed with no advisories
Truck has also had a 5 speed T5 manual box fitted in place of the original dog leg 3 speed so drives much better with better gear changes and much more fun !! - Also this had a new fluid clutch conversion so clutch is nice and light
Just had brand new LSD fitted at a cost of over £1600. 00, allowing her to light both wheels up should you wish too.
She has rare 18" American Racing polished torque thrust wheels ( 18 x 10 rear and 18 x 8 front) with excellent tyres
The engine was fresh not long before i bought the car and although i cant verify it, it was built as a 383 stroker with eagle kit, aluminium heads, electronic dizzy etc, WITH A VERY LAIRY CAM, ITS LUMPY AT IDLE WHICH IS GREAT !!, and having been around drag racing for years i can tell you its all of the reported 500 + horsepower !!, its definitely not for the faint hearted !!
its pearlescent white with a wooden bed and a black cover, if i was keeping it i would put pop studs on the cover rather than the velcro it currently has, but they are all simply little things to do if you wanted to improve it even more, but silly things - id say its not concourse but nice, you can show it and drive it
You could get in her and drive her 500 miles and sit in traffic for half of it and not have a problem its a really well built truck
Underneath is absolutely rock solid with no rust anywhere at all on the truck, i was going to fuel inject it and supercharge it for the 1000hp i want, But if it dosent sell ill do the HP upgrades, and spend the money on it.
This Truck is exceptional and not the usual rubbish you see on here that is full of rust and blows up a month later and costs 10k to sort out, this is rare with the stepside body, very nice in and out and drives much better with the 5 speed (i ummed and aahhed about putting an auto in it but im glad i went with the manual as its so much more fun and its the way hot rodders are going these days !!)
Truck is located in Essex, please no silly offers i just wont reply, it would cost upwards of 40k to build this and thats if you could find a straight body !!
May consider something pro street or a 32 ford hot rod as PX
