For sale is my cherished 1999 Land Rover Range Rover V6 2. 5 TD DSE spec SUV. I've had multiple Land Rover vehicles over the year and purchased this last year as I appreciate the design of this particular Range Rover model - its' looks, build quality & equipment are superb. I researched buying this model for months and sourced it from a private SUV specialist I've used for previous cars, I've not been disappointed.
Spec'd in metallic grey, the car is a 2. 5L V6 TD DSE spec and, above what is standard spec, is fitted with automatic transmission, full cream leather with red piping, electric seats, premium in-car entertainment (Harmon Kardon), HSE-style 16" alloy wheels (x 5 inc spare) & electric sunroof. The car is also fitted with air conditioning, alarm, climate control & cruise control & all-round electic windows. The original Range Rover rubber floor mats are superb & in excellent condition - the car doesn't look like it's even been sat in, in the rear! In the boot when I purchased it were the original, extra-ordered seat covers, so you could place these Range Rover-branded covers over your seats if you were a farmer etc or had a muddy dog (all these extras are listed on the original invoice - see pictures). The car has less than 65k miles and has a full service history. All electrics work perfectly and the car drives perfectly. It's never been in accident or even a bump and the bodywork is a testament to this. The interior is superb - no creaks or rattles and the headliner is original and perfect, all because it's spent its' life indoors and taken care of. Is there a better example available?
Supplied to its' original owner in Motherwell, Scotland in 1999, I contacted him via the supplied paperwork and it was purchased as a business vehicle and only used for travelling to prospective customers. When not used, the car was stored on the business premises in a warehouse hence the low mileage & superb bodywork. The original owner advised me he's always added 'Redex' fuel treatments to his car and I've continued to do the same. My mechanic mentioned upon first inspection how clear the systems were.
Since I've owned it I took it to my local Land Rover specialist (4W Motors, Earlswood nr Solihull), they inspected it as soon as I purchased it and said it was the nicest example of this model they've ever seen, commenting on how well looked it after over its' lifetime it shows. The only issue I've had with it was a continually failing front n/ s side light (which was resolved with a fuse replacement) and a cabin heating servo motor which needed to be replaced- no other issues, the car runs superbly. Pulling into fuel stations I've had people comment on how nice this Range's shape is compared to current, and what a classic they're becoming.
The car has also had a underbody wax protection applied over the years (with receipts) to provide additional protection, this has been a cherished & looked after car over the years. It's been a perfect car and has provided me & my family with some enjoyable trips since purchasing it late last year. My imminent arrival of a new car means I can't hold onto this , as much as I'd like to.
MOT is valid until the end of June 2023. I will provide the car with 12 months MOT for further peace of mind. The car is parked on my driveway and there are no leaks of any kind.
Supplied with two keys both of course working, previous original tax discs, a wealth of paperwork including original purchase receipt & extras, service/ maintenance paperwork, service book (see pics), original manuals, original sale brochures(!).
