Beschreibung
Mini Cooper R50 and an example which will become a collector’s car on a Y registration. It’s a lovely low mileage example of the increasingly sought-after production BMW manufactured models with the correct leather interior.
It’s finished in pure silver and the build date is July 2001 so for collectors who know, this will date is correctly as one of the first. It was delivered new to Jackson’s Garage, the BMW Mini dealership in Jersey in the Channel Islands and first registered 13th August 2001.
It was built with the desirable Chili Pack including heated mirrors and washer jets, an electric panoramic roof, air conditioning and a trip computer.
Its recent MoT test was passed with no advisories. There are no warning lights on and all electrics working. It runs beautifully with just the right level of induction roar and it cruises very happily at motorway speed.
Typically, the headlining is starting to sag but other than that interior is original including the standard CD radio.
The bodywork is in great shape with no rust. There’s some surface marking on the edge of the driver’s door where it’s been opened against a wall or another car. but the paint appears all original. The rear spoiler paint/ laquer has gone off but it’s a simple fix. In the interest of originality, that’s why I’ve not rectified it.
There are service records in the original Mini service booklet and owner’s wallet. It’s been well cared for, but the records are not quite complete. There are two keys. One is fully working, while the other needs some 'renovation' but has its blade.
The car is near postcode area BA3 and I have all the correct papers and the import duty paid has been paid. It’s now ready for its UK V5 application and you could be the first registered keeper here in the UK. This is a simple process and I can help with that. The car is insured on it’s Jersey plate currently and can be driven – if you need help with delivery just ask.
