This UK specification BMW was first registered in November 1951 and still wears its original registration number, ‘RJO 597’. It was the subject of a full restoration in 2021, since when it has travelled less than 1, 000 miles, so is not yet fully run in. It is currently geared for solo riding, the 9/ 32 bevels providing a speed reduction to the rear wheels of 3. 56:1. The bike still has its original carburettors, which were fully restored by Martin Bratby, and are now very rare. I confirm that everything is ‘in full running order’. I am offering the bike for sale complete with all the related receipts and a full photographic record of the restoration.

Genuine reason for sale. Unfortunateley I have been diagnosed with brain tumours and have had to give up my driving licence.
