Nice bike with lots of spares. I toured France on a 1959 G12 back in my teens, bought this to maybe repeat the trip, but I've hardly used it in 2 years. Matching numbers. The later, stiffer duplex, twin down-tube frame. Engine in great shape, starts easily, makes a lovely sound, ticks over nicely. Has had a rebore and rebuild not so long ago. 12v conversion.
Spares include a rim, right-side silencer for a 2-into-1 conversion that did not happen, ammeter, oil cut off valve and electric safety switch to combat wet-sumping, new seat, proper rear rack, gaskets, inner tubes, etc. £300 worth at least. G12's are a great touring bike, reliable and comfortable, 'user friendly', easy to maintain. A well-sorted bike.
