For sale is my 1976 Triumph Spitfire 1500 in British racing green with contrasting beige interior. Recently benefitted from many new parts, listed below and a lot of work.
-New brakes all round, every component replaced, including master cylinder
- New clutch, slave, master and lines
-New suspension bushes , bolts, joints, triunions, wheel bearings, shock absorbers, front springs
- New Front headlamps, side/ indicator lamps
- New radiator, coolant hoses, water pump, head gasket, fuel pump, coil, leads, cap rotor etc, windscreen washer pump bottle and bracket, battery. Cleaned stripped and rebuilt Carburettors.
- New tyres on painted original steel wheels
- Stainless steel sports exhaust
- New boot floor, rear panel, arches, lower rear quarters , battery tray , Lower front panels
- New fuel sender, cleaned and treated fuel tank. New fuel lines throughout.
- New passenger door (NOS)
- chassis blasted and painted in black
- Pressed steel number plates
- New soft top roof ( not fitted but included)
- Recently serviced with new oil and spark plugs
Ideal starter classic and a great little runaround. There are a few little bits requiring a mention,
- The temperature gauge works backwards
- The passenger side door could do with a bit more aligning
- The chrome work is a bit pitted but in my opinion still presentable
