Purchased by me from the original owner in Faro, Portugal in 2014
Driven home by me across Portugal and Spain, via ferry from Santander to UK.
Extensive work required to get it through an MOT and enable UK registration. Some of the parts required documented (purchased from the 2CV shop. Fitted by a local mechanic, as well as some welding to sort out the chassis).
1st MOT & UK registration May 2015. No former keepers.
Since then it has had MOT every year: (it is now MOT exempt)

It?s kept in a dehumidified garage.
In 2016 I had a reconditioned gearbox and electronic ignition fitted. In 2017 at km 95919 it had a 650cc engine fitted (both supplied and fitted by Cambridge 2CV - where I also take it for the annual service).
It?s a bit tatty and the heating doesn?t work but as this has never bothered me. I?ve never done anything about it, same for the general condition. I?ve never tried to remove the roof as I don?t like convertibles and I threw the back seat and side panels away as I never used them. The windscreen has been fixed in place by the previous owner.
But it does drive lovely (Will at Cambridge 2CV always comments on the extra oomph the 650cc engine gives), stops when it?s asked, and will cruise happily at 100kph on a flat road. I get lots of second looks as I pass other cars on the A1 touching the speed limit (of the car and the A1

4. V948 DVLA Number Plate Authorisation Certificate ? issued 2-5-2015
5. All MOT certificates
6. V112 DVLA Declaration of exemption from MOT
7. 10 invoices from The 2CV Shop for various parts listed in the schedule
8. Cambridge 2CV receipt for the replacement gearbox
I?m not technical and don?t know the names of all the parts but I?m happy to supply photos of anything specific you want to see.
