This raised and extended bus is in absolute top condition (technical inspected without a single point of attention) and will be easy to convert into a vintage campervan or an original and unique commercial vehicle. The bus has just turned 40 years old, so it is now a tax-free old-timer in the Netherlands.
Where many old VW vans drive up the mountain with difficulty & sweating, this strong and extremely reliable 2. 0 OHC petrol engine makes it easy, this bus has 4 gears. Also a plus, because the engine is placed in front of the cabin, it is relatively quieter and certainly safer than a bus with a 'flat nose'. Also nice to know, for this bus ALL parts are still widely available and affordable!
This Vintage Ford Transit has been stored dry indoors for its entire life and with only a few minor cosmetic blemishes (but no rust anywhere) this vehicle looks and drives like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Entire maintenance history is present, the bus is up-to-date with a new distribution belt, major service, valves and ignition adjusted and new fluids. I also had the bus completely checked for this sale; according to the garage and inspector it is in excellent condition and therefore ready for use. No points of attention or expected repairs.
These buses are rare and sought after… especially in this condition. So not much room for negotiation
