This is a motorcycle from my private collection. It is in fully detailed show condition and comes with a detailed provenance.
This is a UK supplied motorcycle which was taken to the USA by its first owner, an airman, early in its life, and then repatriated in 1980. On arriving back in the UK it had just the one keeper for the next 30 years, who eventually, after much nagging, sold it to his friend from whom I bought it. Throughout its life it has been cherished, and has been maintained to an exceptional standard. It is great to have a bike with real provenance like this, and I have a large file containing all receipts from 1980 onwards (so 41 years of detailed history. Where did all that time go??). I also have the original seat, which will come with the bike. The bike is fitted with TriSpark electronic ignition to aid starting.
To fully prepare it for its next keeper, it was taken off display, freshly detailed, started, checked over and ridden, video and photos taken, drained and put back on display.
