Potentially the only one left in this specific spec.
Incredible 2. 5litre V6 engine, mated to the automatic box, which runs extremely well.
It's incredibly reliable and is the one car I own I have full faith will get me anywhere.
Good service history, having had a full service inc transmission fluid within the last year.
This is absolute top spec with every extra inc. heated seats, Aircon, Electric mirrors etc.
And everything works as it's supposed to, including the sun roof!
Doesn't have any of the usual underside rust and rot, and was fully treated a year ago.
Full new exhaust system.
Headlining perfect.
New idle air control valve.
Just replaced rear drop link as it started groaning at me.
Paintwork generally excellent.
Bad points:
Small barely noticeable dent above rear wheel arch, slight scruff to the rear bumper, and some rust starting in the usual spot at the front of the rear wheel arch.
When I bought the car the "O/ D Off" would flash on any long journey, I changed the changed the transmission fluid it then did it on the rare occasion, I've since flushed and changed the fluid again and it's not done it since. Hurray! I'm mentioning it to let any previous readers know it's no longer doing it, and just in case on the off chance it were to come up again I wouldn't want anyone to think I'd missold. So it was an issue (albeit didn't affect the driving) but no longer seemingly so.
And that's literally everything, try finding another in this spec and condition. Tbh it deserves to be in the show circuit, not a daily driver. So as I have two other classics, I'm moving this on to get a something less precious, and something I can take into Glasgow.
Will consider p/ X for Rover 45, or 1. 8 Rover 75.
