This is a very nice original U. K. example of a 1981 CB 400N Superdream Deluxe, with low mileage and 2 previous keepers.
The motorcycle starts, runs and drives very well for a bike of it’s age. Is ‘unrestored’ in standard trim, it does have the odd mark here and there with a small split in the seat cover but nothing serious or that detracts from the look of a good honest machine – it carries it’s age well. Superdreams have the reputation for being reliable and solidly built bikes with the 400, a bit more fun to drive.
It has 30k on the clock and was apparently dry stored off the road for quite a long period before being purchased by the second keeper who ‘re-commissioned’ it before selling on to me.
Professionally maintained whilst I’ve had the machine, recent work includes brake overhaul with new hoses, new tyres, new fork seals and many other service items / etc.
Registered with the DVLA as an historic vehicle, it is tax-free, and mot exempt and no charge for the congestion zone or ULEZ and with low-cost classic insurance and good MPG makes an ideal, inexpensive classic that can be used as everyday transport or just classic runs.
