The time has come I need to sell my MX5, due to work and moving abroad the MX5 has to go. It is a much loved car and has been well looked after over the years. It has never skipped a beat or let me down in my time, and has done a couple of 1000 mile road trips through Europe without fault.
The car is in the rarer laguna blue colour and looks great, it has a mohair soft top in good condition. It has an upgraded stereo, a double din alpine head unit with apple car play and android auto via USB, all the speakers in the car were replaced last year with pioneer speakers.
It is on 15 inch rota grid alloys and has a TR lane roll bar fitted with harness bar, front gv style splitter and rear wing.
Lowered on Meister R coilovers which feel excellent when driving and an excellent sounding IL Motorsort exhaust. The car truly feels and sounds great on the road.
It has just had a lot of work carried out in March this year at The MX5 Restorer, listed below;
Offside front sill repair - outer skin replacement, jacking point, bulkhead panel repair, inner upright repair, prep and paint
Nearside front sill repair - outer skin replacement, jacking point, inner upright repair, torque panel replacement
Full set of Superpro Polly bushes fitted to all suspension arms
New drilled and slotted front brake disc fitted and new brake pads
and a new Lamda sensor
The engine is completely standard other than new upgraded red silicone coolant hoses and conical air filter, it starts first time every time without a hitch.
The seats are covered in leatherette, in black and blue and suit the car really well.
It has an immobiliser installed in the left hand side of the driver foot well.
It comes with upgraded LED headlights installed, the originals are included, it has upgraded braided brake hoses. A brand new not fitted set are included as well.
An excellent car and a very, very reluctant sale. Tastefully modified and easily returned to original or a solid base for modifying further.
