1962 Series 2A
Fantastic condition.
Sad to be selling as I have only owed it for a year, but the money is needed and I don't have the time to work on it due to my job. Will need trailering away due to carb issue.
Pros -
* New circular wing mirrors
* 4 tubeless wheels with new tyres
* New reproduction series 2 seats installed in the front
* New cap, rotor, points, condenser, spark plugs, spark plug wires, and coil.
* Fuel Tank Sender fixed
* Runs and drives, albiet sluggish (Carb issue)
* Original engine!!
* New Battery
* Radiator Flushed
Cons -
* Will need new spare tyre
* Carb will need rebuilding. Runs and drives but sluggish so will nees trailering away.
* Welding needed on Chassis and bulkhead.
* Brake lights are temperamental, so might need a new hydraulic brake switch?
* One front headlight is out
* Needs new lick of paint
I have had this inspected by Lindford Off-Road (who also fitted the new distributor parts) and he said it's a lovely authentic and solid piece!

I've taken it to shows and had good conversations with people over it, they love the original engine especially, probably more than the Landy itself!
Taken it down many off road country lanes and loved every minute of it.
Will genuinely miss owning this, but I really hope that someone else gets the joy and satisfaction that I did too.
