Here we have my unfinished project which I bought this time last year with the intention of taking it on a road trip across Europe to visit a freind but I ended up using my daily as we tried making some improvements to the Pug so I could safely take it round the Nurburgring but fitting the new parts wasn't as straight forward as we thought.

We tried to fit 16" 206 alloys with sporty tyres and slightly lower the front using 30mm lowering springs .. long story short the wheels needed spacers + custom wheel nuts and upon changing the springs we notcied the shocks were shot so we decided to replace them with a new pair.

This would have been fine if the supplier hadnt sent us the wrong shock type and took 2 weeks for the nuts to arrive so we only had a few days before the planned trip to get everything fittted. We managed to get the new shocks and new springs fitted the day before I was setting off on the trip but once I drove home I noticed the ride was signifcantly harder and the left front was catching slightly when steering and with no time left to sort out these teething issues I had no choice but to take my daily.

The car is drivable but pretty stiff over bumps, to resolve this issue I would simply fit the original springs which I still have and a garage would fit back on for about £100 but after spending £1000+ on all this kit / labour I'm not keen on spending any more when I no longer need the car but I am sad to see it go, my kids love it and aptly nicknamed it the MINION.

Other areas that need some TLC.. my bluetooth stereo was nicked a few weeks ago and I can't get the one in the pictures to work but kept it there so it's less of a eye sore and the electric roof doesn't work but can be done by hand easy enough. In summary it's a Lovely car which deserves to be looked after as there's only a handful left in the country making it a potential future classic! It just needs some minor work to be fully enjoyed :)
