A matching numbers car equipped with a semi-automatic transmission, reupholstered leather interior, and rare Jaeger dashboard. Entirely restored in 2017 by Denis Arnoult of DS Sensation in Montbron and presented in its original colours - Blanc Carrare and Gris Argent. Over €80, 000 has been spent on the restoration alone, with invoices on file outlining the work in detail.
Denis Arnoult is recognised as one of the world’s foremost Citroën restorers, renowned for his work on several award-winning (Pebble Beach) Henri Chapron cars. Testament to the exceptional quality of the restoration, in 2021 the car was awarded first place (Concours d’Etat et de Restauration) at the Circuit de Remparts event in Angoulême - Grand Prix d’Excellence.
The original Pallas interior has been reupholstered by Enzo Forgione, a specialist in Bolzano who produces authentic DS and SM interiors. Enzo supplies discerning collectors and PSA with Pallas interiors for their heritage collection in Citroen showrooms throughout Paris. The original seats are reupholstered with leather of superb quality, identical in texture and colour to what Citroen originally produced. The stitching, thread colour, and internal materials (hessian and felt) remain true to the original specification.
Further information together with the car's valuation report (rapport d'expertise) are available on request.
