VW Splitscreen Camper. 1964. 1493cc. Original factory and UK supplied RHD. I've owned the van for 11 years. 67, 368 miles. Original and UNCUT dash. Original factory steering wheel and gearstick. 12v conversion. Dynamo replaced by alternator. Fuel lines replaced and fuel cut off system installed in 2022. As you can see the van sits lower than its factory height. It's wearing Empi alloys. I have MOT certificates covering the period from February 1988 when the mileage was 18, 160 going right the way to August 2004 when the mileage was 39, 771. The on line MOT mileage history is as follows: 26/ 09/ 2006-46, 610, 02/ 11/ 2007-47, 959, 24. 11. 2008-49, 150, 14/ 12/ 2009-52, 180, 28/ 06/ 2011-55, 082, 28/ 06/ 2012-56, 155, 21/ 06/ 2013-58, 220, 29/ 05/ 2014-60, 490, 09/ 06/ 2015-62, 250, 24/ 06/ 2016-64, 035, 17/ 06/ 2017-65, 254. The rear drawers and back bench is original. I have bills in the history file going back to 2003 totalling many thousands of pounds. Full length roof rack. The front seats are red leather with cream piping.
The registration number goes with the van. Selling due to lack of use. MOT exempt of course and free road tax. The van has been dry stored in my garage all the time i've owned it. I am in Wiltshire, UK. It's been featured in several editions of camper and bus magazine. I have the magazines.
