STUNNING 1996 Ducati 916 SP3
No-178 of 497 Bikes made.
This is a particularly fine example with excellent paintwork. It has no corrosion underneath the bodywork or on the underside of the frame. Engine paint is in excellent condition and the wheels are unmarked.
The engine benefits from an earlier rebuild before I owned it by the renowned and acclaimed Ducati specialist Richard LIewelyn of Louigi Moto Bristol. The engine runs and pulls beautifully in all gears with no knocks or noises giving cause for concern.
The bike comes with Termignoni Pipes, Rare Red SP Mirrors, Carbon shrouds above the rear sets and for the exhaust heat shield. Private “916”, registration plate that’s staying on the bike. The bike has also just had a new battery fitted and comes with its original stand, Two keys, V5C and a new MOT.
I have owned the bike for the last six years and it is always stored in a dry heated room. The bike comes with a comprehensive service history/ MOTs etc and also comes with the original Pre Delivery Inspection form from Moto Cinelli the Ducati importer. I also have an email from Ducati confirming that this is an original genuine Monoposto SP3 and that the VIN and engine numbers all match up.
There are very few of these bikes left in this condition and when I last checked there were only 4 registered with the DVLA. This is a rare opportunity for someone to own one of the last legendary 916 SP3’s that is in first class running order.
