I HAD A MECHANIC LOOK AT THE CAR AND HE COULD REPAIR IT, BUT NOT UNTIL THE END OF SEPT. I`VE NOW BOUGHT ANOTHER CAR , SO THE MAZDA IS IN THE WAY . THIS WOULD MAKE A SUPER CAR ONCE REPAIRED REDUCED TO ITS LOWEST PRICE
2009 Mazda 2 Diesel
We have just toured Cornwall covering 900 miles and the car returned 66 mpg . There was a smell of Diesel in the car and an injector, was found to have a faulty seal , I had this repaired at a cost of £215 . Shortly afterwards , on the motorway it sounded as though the exhaust was blowing , I called into our local garage and they said it sounded like the EGR VALVE is faulty, a common fault . They also said, that it was an awkward job to do, which ruled me out, the way I feel . Due to health problems I cannot be without a car , so I have bought another one . This Mazda is MOTd until December has a road tax of £20/ yr and was a great little car It gives about 55mpg running about. Body work interior is good the engine is excellent someone who can wait for a garage to fix it will have a bargain .. I live in Bromsgrove Worc
Though the car is now awkward to start after this fault started, it can be driven, but the exhaust is very loud.
