Beschreibung
1964 Land Rover Series IIA 88” Diesel.
This Land Rover is owned by a customer of ours who has decided it’s time to sell it as it’s not getting used much these days. If any interested parties contact me in the first instance then I can answer any questions about the Land Rover and take further pictures if required. If you wish to
view the Land Rover then please contact me and we can arrange an appointment. If anyone is interested in making an offer then I can put them in touch with the owner to negotiate a deal with
them directly.
Galvanised chassis HD spec, purchased in 1997 (receipt kept). Painted/ Dinitrol waxed inside and still in excellent condition.
Galvanised bulkhead
Galvanised radiator panel
2. 3 Peugeot 4 cylinder diesel fitted with a Steve Parker kit and exhaust system. The owner knows the engines history and it has done less than 50k miles. It starts well and runs nicely and with a clean exhaust.
A Series Three gearbox was fitted when the diesel engine was installed
Range Rover diffs have been fitted. The replacement engine pulls the higher gearing easily and it gives a much better cruising speed.
The Land Rover has a number of upgrades to make life more comfortable including parabolic springs (British Springs), heated windscreens, LaSalle headlining, Eberspacher cab heater, reversing camera and a gas strut on the rear catflap.
Owned since 1996. The original petrol engine, gearbox and diffs have been dry stored and are available for sale with the Land Rover if the new owner wishes to refit the original drivetrain. I understand the engine and gearbox were in working order when removed 20+ years ago.
Looking for offers around £12, 000.
