• I am the second Dutch owner since 2006.
Mechanicals
• At 90. 000 km the engine has been completely overhauled and
modified by the widely respected and well-known Dutch
Citroen Maserati specialist Willem van der Laan.
• Important modifications as for example:
Hydraulic chain tensioner;
integrated heat exchanger;
double row radiator;
RVS exhaust valves
electronic ignition

• Maintenance and overhaul is well documented with photos and
detailed invoices.
Body
• Car is always parked dry in storage/ garage kept.
• Body of the car- except a few small spots- rust-free.
• For the beauty, the car needs a re-spray.
Interior
• Well preserved and maintained comfortable black leather
interior.
• Original factory tinted glass.
Electronics
• Petrol gauge is not working. Left front-window mechanism goes
up with difficulty.
• AC not working.
• All other electronics works very well.
This car is part of a small collection and has hardly been used. With some last TLC together with a re-spray, this diva will come fully into its own glory: a real true beauty. The design has stood the test of time and driving this car is always something else and one of life’s great pleasures.

The car can be driven and tested on the road. I owned a small collection but I kept the Citroen SM until the last, just because I really loved it. It's actually a shame i've driven so little in it. The performance of the car, the fun to drive it, the lovely and comfortabel seats and its incredible design. It just drives and handles better than most modern cars.
The modifications makes the car very reliable and makes you forget the bad reputation. The SM is one of those landmark machines, something special and till today you see modern cars picking up the innovative features of a car which was his time ahead.
