April 1975 4. 2 Auto LEFT HAND DRIVE. First registered in France and then imported into the UK by me in 2019 and currently UK registered as a historic vehicle. Very little in the way of history but it would appear the car was subject to a light restoration some 20 years ago. The bodywork is very solid and none of the usual corrosion issues associated with this model, the areas around the front floor , jacking points , radius arm mounts , rear valances and boot floor are solid.
Leather Interior in dark blue in good condition.
Mechanically all as it should be, good oil pressure and gearbox smooth. The car came to me minus the carbs and I have fitted a set of HD8’s from a series 1. Cold starting may require a little manual adjustment but after 30 secs it runs fine. Drives well and totally usable as is. For serious prospective buyers I can get the car on a hoist and take detailed photos of the underneath, but it is very solid.
The paintwork looks like a 1990’s repaint that is not going to satisfy the concours minded buyer, but is totally acceptable with just a few bubbles appearing, again nothing serious.
The car is currently just south of Le Mans and can be delivered free of charge to either Newhaven or Portsmouth.
