Engine and gearbox work perfectly. Pulls extremely well and stays at the correct temperature. Fantastic twinspark sound. Original engine lost its oil and was knocking so replaced with a 60k mile engine supplied and fitted by Italia Auto in Walsall (All work on this car and my old Mito have been done here). Timing belt, tensioner, water pump, clutch, release bearing and a service was completed last year and it’s done about 30 miles since then. When first started there is a squeak from what I believe is the idle pulley but goes away after a few minutes when the car is warm. In the last few months it’s had M-Tec brake pads and drilled/ grooved discs all around, new rear callipers and hand brake cables, TA Technix performance shock absorbers, Direnza 40mm lowering springs and a new catalytic converter welded in. With all the mechanical work the car is an amazing drive.

Bodywork condition is okay but is a 10ft car. Is very straight but the rear corner has a dent from an accident a number of years ago. It was declared a Cat. C (before Cat. D was a thing). The underside of the car has had welding recently and is completely solid now. The side skirts have suffered from the typical broken clips but the previous owner, for an unknown reason, just screwed them back on. There is a very small amount of surface corrosion starting at the edge of the wings but can be easily treated. The glass is all in perfect condition with zero chips or cracks.

Interior full black leather, is in great condition and very comfortable. Steering wheel and gearknob show very little wear. All interior electrics working as they should. Air conditioning works but isn’t the coldest. The headunit is the original Sony cassette unit with six CD changer in the boot.

The wheels are the standard alloys and roll straight and true. The tyres are all in good condition with plenty of life in them.

Gutted to be selling my 145 but I’ve got too many cars that aren’t getting driven and I’m having to pay storage fees. It is a truly cracking little car that is a joy to drive.
