1928 Bentley 3 4.5L

The most favoured year of production, from 1927, this Speed Model Bentley benefits from the most important of all criteria, continuous history. It benefits from many improvements including a Phoenix Crankshaft and increased capacity of 5. 3 Litres.

It has its original chassis of 9’ 9 1/ 2” Speed Model number NR 515.

The differential ratio is 33/ 1 rebuilt by NDR of Watford, it’s original 4 1/ 2 pattern casing with front oil filler, the 4 1/ 2 pattern housing is much preferred and stronger than a 3 litre.

This car starts in the button and totally reliable with virtually no oil leaks.

Having had many various bodies fitted and starting out with a Sport Skiffby Felber, it now boasts a VDP light touring body. Presented in perfect mechanical condition, with a recently rebuilt rear axle and an over drive fitted.

The car is ready for racing track usage with new fuel pumps fitted, rain light, oil catch tank, alteration to wiring system to allow electrical isolation and a new clutch and starter motor It’s ready for any thing you wish to throw at the car and it’s more than capable and will definitely bring a smile to your face.
