1977 TVR 3000M 3 litre V6 with 4 speed manual overdrive gearbox
TVR are a well known sports car builder and I would say this is one of the best looking cars to leave the Blackpool factory gates. Once in the cockpit the driving position incapsulates you, making you feel part of the car. The steering and gear change are precise and the brakes are more than adequate with a very progressive feel. It’s very much a drivers car and a true sports car. Powered by a throaty Ford V6 with plenty of power and torque make the 3000M a joy to drive. The engine sounds as good as it feels and pulls strong throughout the rev range. The handling is precise and A roads and country lanes become a joy to travel on.
This car was equipped from the factory with overdrive and this works like a fifth gear. Motorway journeys are pleasant and the 3000M is more than capable of keeping up with traffic. The light construction and powerful V6 result in a quick car even by todays standards.

New wiring loom and centre console switches.
New adjustable coil over shocks all round
New brakes. master cylinder, servo, calipers, discs, pads, rear shoes and wheel cylinders
New brake pipes and fuel lines
Radiator and heater matrix rebuilt with new cores. New electric cooling fan.
Four new tyres 195 – 70 – 14
New carpet set with good original seats and dash
New folding fabric sunroof
New alternator and battery
Engine rebuilt – new rings and bearings. Replaced timing gears with uprated alloy ones. New cam and valve springs. New clutch
