I am selling my beautiful and very fast Alvis Speed 25 Special from 1937. The vehicle was purchased in Great Britain in 2012 by the previous owner from a dealer internationally known for great pre-war classics. The last owner regularly took part in various events with the Alvis (including the AVD Oldtimer Grand Prix, Rhein-Ahr-Eifel-Klassik, Int. ADAC Herkules-Mountain Prize). The Alvis still has its original Speed 25 engine with 3. 5 L and almost 120 HP (88. 3 Kw). This powerful engine combined with the original fully synchronized 4-speed transmission and the body made entirely of aluminum makes the Alvis an extremely powerful pre-war sports car. Even long distances or motorway journeys are no problem for him. It is also worth mentioning that when the Alvis was built, the accelerator pedal was placed back to the right (it is normally placed in the middle on these vehicles). It is also equipped with a temperature-controlled additional fan, which starts up during heavy use or when driving in high summer temperatures. I never had any thermal problems with the Alvis. Mountain routes are also easy for him. Furthermore, the Alvis was regularly serviced by a specialist workshop in Germany and can be re-registered and driven immediately. He is currently registered (Historic license plate). The vehicle also includes the original English number plates, the old English vehicle documents (V5) and a folder containing invoices, some history and MOT reports.
