Description
1972 MGB GT with only 70k miles on the clock. MOT and Tax exempt. Also exempt from ULEZ given the recent expansion! The MGB GT in the colour of Harvest Gold, was registered on 02/ 05/ 1972. I bought the MG in 2022 as a sort of fun and light project to do with my father but I now need the money to go travelling.

The body work and underside are in very good condition, but the paint is starting to flake a bit around the edges, so viewing is advised before purchase. I have tried to reflect this in the photos as I am not trying to hide anything and waste both of our time. It is a very solid usable classic car that has not left me stranded at the side of the road once, but it’s 51 years old and not in show car condition. The car does have overdrive in 3rd and 4th, but it is a bit temperamental and I have not had the need to use it that much. There is a thick stack of paperwork to go with the car with some dating back to 1984.
In my ownership we have changed the plugs and leads, reupholstered the front seats, changed the door cards to black leather, installed bullet wing mirrors, installed an Astrali steering wheel and boss kit, new batter, door and boot seals and many more little bits. I still have a lot of spare parts and new bits that I haven't got round to doing yet, but I will throw these in with the sale.
I am very sad to be selling it as I have really enjoyed tinkering with the car and going on drives with my father but it’s time for it to go. Viewing advised, based in Bromley, South East London. Open to offers!
