Description
1962 Triumph Herald 1200 which has been in the same family for 60 years. It was my wife's grandad's car, after he died 12 years ago the car came to me. It has been garaged it's entire life, in Cornwall where he lived and with me in Scotland. An early Mk1 1200 DL saloon with original interior, drum brakes front and rear, and 87k miles.
It has new bumpers, new battery, new brake linings, cylinders, and hoses all round.
It starts and runs well once going, but must admit it can be a bit reluctant to get going! The chrome headlight surrounds aren't in the best condition and suffer from bubbling. The rest of the chrome is in good condition.
Currently SORN, I unfortunately don't have the time to use it and require the space in the garage. I would love to see it go to someone who would make use of it and cherish it.
