Purchased new, never ridden. In August 2022, when the Maverick 'Infinite' was in early production, Jack Clews, the founder's grandson, reserved one for me at the CCM factory in Bolton. The standard Maverick had been introduced to wide acclaim in May 2021. In October I went to the factory to agree the final specification, and the bike was delivered just before Christmas. Jack confirmed "only 180 builds of the Maverick to start with, most of which have already gone". The Maverick 'Infinite' specification was inspired by the CCM 'special' made for the Paramount film Infinite in which Mark Wahlberg rides it off a cliff on the wings of a passing aeroplane! Of course I would try this myself, but an injury means I must take things easier, and sell on the bike! Such is life.
CCM's 2023 Mavericks now come in 3 options: Base, Premium, and Ultimate. The nearest specification to my Infinite is Premium, without the additional extras listed below. The price of my bike is now less than a Premium model with a lower specification.
I waited months for my Maverick Infinite and extras to be built but it was worth it. It has its MSVA Certificate, DVLA V5C registration, MOT and road tax paid to 12. 12. 23. Combined insurance and RAC breakdown cost me £305. I've ridden other Mavericks and this one is among the few and finest examples of the model. It's not for long distance touring, but unsurpassed for country lanes and across the roughest and remotest terrain. Immense fun, you can depend on it.

In September 2023 CCM obtained a big round of new investment from Pitalia Capital. They entered into their first major retailing agreement with Completely Motorbikes, with 21 showrooms and the largest selection of bikes in the UK. They will be gearing up and going overseas, and my guess is, the days of these wonderful custom builds will be all but over. It's great for the economy and I wish them all the very best. Best of all, my bike has begun to climb in value. Similar specs are now on sale £1000 more than my asking price. This week I saw a Maverick Premium in Staverton at £14, 082.
