Description
1979 BMW 635 CSI dogleg manual LSD M90
UPDATE - have just had a brand new clutch fitted at the costs of around £850
Extremely rare version of the early 635 - this car was BMW's top of the line 6 series back in 1979 - it has recaro seats, factory 5 speed dogleg manual, LSD and uprated suspension. Also has the M90 engine, this was a factory bored out version of BMWs M30 engine - one of the most powerful engines to be put in the E24.
The car runs great, pulls hard in every gear and has recently completed a 1000+ mile trip around Europe - would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
MOT and tax exempt - so great for ULEZ
Over the past couple years has had a huge amount spent on making sure it runs great.
- Complete top end rebuild, new valves, guides, seats and seals
- Complete brake overhaul, new discs all round, caliper rebuilds and EBC redstuff brake pads
- New rear shocks
- Entire cooling system replacement, water pump, thermostat, radiator and fan clutch
- New rear chrome bumper
The car is not perfect - it has a few small bubbles coming under the paint which eventually would want looking at. Can be run as is or with a bit of tinkering could be made into a really exceptional and rare 635.
Only selling as now have a new project. Let me know if any questions.
Can organise UK shipping at buyers cost.
