1938 Alvis 12/ 70 Anderson tourer (1 of 4 built)
Alvis factory records show that the rolling chassis of this Alvis AFX 222, was supplied to Hugh Anderson LTD London on 26th November 1938. Here the body was designed, it was then hand built by Whittingham and Mitchell, London. It was then returned to Alvis factory in Coventry on the 3rd January 1939. Only four of these type of bodies were built and 3 still exist main difference being helmet wings and no running boardsshe was restored to concourse condition by peter smith of smith and cave Blandford and is still in immaculate condition, underneath is as good as the top and still wins at many shows she dose have full weather gear, just had 4 new tyres, and Murch more please ring or email for more details, open to offers
