REDUCED - BARGAIN
This is a lovely example of the rare Lotus Europa S, which was designed as a more refined and comfortable version of the Elise. A true drivers car that can only appreciate in value with ~465 "S" models made only.
The car has a comprehensive and documented service history and was last serviced in May 23. The last owner owned the car from 2014 until 2022 and in those 8 years completed less than 6, 000 miles. In that time, at 54, 436 miles - ~2, 000 miles ago,, the CAM and Aux drive belts and ball joints were replaced. In addition the rear shocks, front callipers, discs and pads, front brake hoses, rear brake pads and clutch pedal return springs were also replaced. We have also recently replaced the headlining which was sagging and carpets with genuine Lotus ones. The turbo system has also been overhauled recently with the MAF, Turbo Boost MAP sensors being replaced and later the brake switch as this cuts out the turbo under braking.
The overall bodywork condition is very, very good. Inevitably there are a few very minor chips/ scratches but you have to look for them. The interior is in great condition with wear consistent with the mileage and, hence, usage. The car has been fitted with Wolfrace wheels at some point (new centre hub caps fitted) and the front discs and pads are AP racing with loads of wear left. Rear discs standard but are new and the pads are AP racing again. Heater blower motor has stopped working, probably resistor matrix as they are prone to corrosion.
This is a well maintained and sorted car that is ready to be enjoyed by an enthusiast. It is an exciting lightweight performance car that is very rarely seen on UK roads and should, therefore, only appreciate in value. Fantastic handling and a powerful turbo engine equal loads of FUN.
