Fabulously smooth 6 cylinder / 24 valve engine with auto box. The 6 cylinder cars are so much smoother and have a much more luxurious feel than their lesser four cylinder cousins. With 193HP and 200 FT/ Lbs of torque these cars are no slouches. 0 - 60mph about 8. 6 secs and top speed around 142mph.
Recent battery and flexible brake hoses.
The wiring loom is in good shape having been attended to by a previous owner.
Manuals / instruction books and stamped service book complete in Mercedes folder.
Electric windows all round with slightly slow electric tilt / slide sunroof. Electric aerial.

I have previously had two W124s and both have lived up to the legendary reliability reputation.
Sound car with scope for improvement here and there. There are a three or four minor scabs on the paintwork which would be easily resolved. For 29 years old the car looks very good indeed. Underneath is good with excellent jacking points etc. Photos available on request.
These cars are easy to work on if you prefer doing things yourself with lots of specialist support with spares and advice.
