This is my 1993 Bentley Turbo R finished in Royal Blue with a contrasting grey leather interior. This is the face-lift model with the four speed gearbox and the gearlever on the console rather than the column. It also has better suspension etc.
A bit of background information. The car had been off the road for a number of years. I purchased it a few months ago and took on the task of getting in roadworthy! It has had around £1000 spent on the fuel system. New pump and various pipes and filters. Spark plugs, crank sensor etc etc. The result of these works is a beautifully smooth V8 engine. It also has new front springs.
It was entered for mot recently and other than a sticking front brake (which has been rectified) it's all ok. The parking brake will require some attention. It worked for the test, but only just. Feels like sticky cables which are reasonably priced. (£55 each from Flying Spares)
Bodywork is good, one rear arch has a small blister but nothing major. It's a lovely colour when it's clean and polished. I've added pictures of the minor issues.
Interior is also good. One wood door capping is a bit faded. The seats work when they feel like it! A common problem on these cars.
Rear tyres are starting to crack on the edges of the tread and are an advisory on the mot.
All in all a good honest car with no corrosion issues. I'm sure there will be bits to do as it gets put back into use but it's priced accordingly. I would continue with it but I've recently purchased a 97 Turbo R and don't need two of them!
This is probably the cheapest floor change car for sale with a full mot, service history and less than 100k miles. The car has 19 stamps in the service books, most of these are main dealer
