Built on 27th December 1967 and despatched on 12th February 1968 to L. F. Dove Limited in Wimbledon, London, my TR5 is presented in its original colour of Valencia Blue right hand drive home market car with overdrive gearbox. Boasting a Surrey top.
Having benefitted from a full restoration in 2010, testament to the quality of the work done, the car presents as a car restored within the last year or two. Inside and out, underneath and in every crook and cranny the car is remarkably clean. The engine bay presents beautifully , and the inside of the wheel arches are clean body colour
The interior and the paint are also all in excellent condition
A long and fully itemised invoice from Robert J. Foster Motor Engineers shows the complete engine and mechanical restoration the car has had. The car has also just benefitted from a thorough going through with a sympathetic detailing and a brand new set of chrome wire wheels
The car has remarkably low ownership with only three former keepers, the first for thirty years, the second for ten years and third for fifteen years, full photographic documentation from the restoration within its history file.

Engine rebuilt by the midlands renowned Rob Forster with fast road cam in 2010 with circa 81, 000 miles on the clock, so circa 11, 000 miles on it.
Gearbox and overdrive rebuilt by Overdrive Repair Specialists (ORS), gearbox upgraded with Stag parts, new clutch at the same time circa 2, 000 miles ago
