Mk1 Ford Cortina. Beautiful condition a real eye catcher.
It’s been professionally painted in Ford Quartz metallic paint but I have photos of the original condition before painting.
Very solid car no welding required that I can find and I’ve had it up on a ramp with a mot inspector who agreed it was solid.
Very nice 1200 engine which runs very well and sounds nice. Great gearbox selecting all gears without effort. Excellent brakes discs on the front so it stops very well. Just had plugs, points condenser and a new battery Fan belt top hose. Now fitted with brand new steel wheels with new tyres and hub caps. Please contact me and I’d encourage viewing.
Lovely interior with its factory rubber carpeting in excellent condition. First registered in October 1965 right in the middle of the swinging 60’s The Beatles and mini skirt days.
The previous owner bought this car from an elderly gentleman but unfortunately the history was lost.
Lovely car for Sunday pick nicks or stands out at a classic car show, you will definitely get lots of interest and have some great conversations with people who remember the cars and the 60’s.
