Welcome to my sale of this very rare genuine 2 door RHD Ford Cortina Mk4 1. 3 Base model only 5 genuine UK car’s remaining. It is a 1978 model year car only having covered a genuine 42, 000 miles from new finished in its original colour Bermuda Blue in excellent condition and even the floor panels are still in the original factory finish never having been welded. Both the engine bay and boot area are also in excellent condition. The interior is also all original and in excellent condition even down to the original radio blanking plate . Still fitted with the original engine and gearbox and drives without fault with the addition of an electronic distributor and stainless steel exhaust system. All new Gaz adjustable suspension and poly bushed throughout. Five recently new wheels and tyres but also comes with the original steel wheels if required that will need new tyres. This car spent 18 years in Haynes motor museum and has also been in Retro Ford Magazine and is this years March cover car in the Cortina club calendar. It also won 2 trophies last year including best Mk4 at the national cortina club show and always attracts attention when out in public or at shows.
