Rover 416 saloon. Desirable D series honda engine, 48k miles, automatic.
I’ve spent way too long cleaning over the past few weeks, serviced it too. It’s got mot til October. Some history, including the invoice from motorhouse where it was originally purchased (first owned by Avis). Two keys and immobiliser. Runs and drives like a 48k mile car, perfectly. The only issue is the paint. Lacquer peel and bad repairs. On the roof bonnet and boot.
Don’t really want to sell but a car I’ve wanted for a while and never thought would come up for sale has. If it doesn’t sell, I’ll part ex it for the other car. It has a service book that has quite a few stamps, it's books, some invoices and mots. I bought it as it’s now a rare thing. Which is crazy because they used to be so common. It’s a shame that the paint is bad but to be honest, the rest of the car is so good that it doesn’t matter too much. It’s just paint after all so not a big job.
