"Gasoline Bandit" Black Badged 9-5 SE 2. 0t. 2 owners, with loads of history.
I have had it for over 2 years now as a stop gap car while i look for another Jag. Got one so the Bandit has to go.
New front suspension arms and ball joints, new crank sensor, new boost valve, new oil breather hose, new sharks fin Antenor cover, new gear shift jeliose, both seat belt anchors welded, 3 inch stainless steel exhaust, all seats are clean with no tears or rips, front seats are heated, cup holders work, cruise control works well, now has a Forge diverter valve sporting an open air filter that sucks in tons of air, i have changed the oil every year since owning, new D. I. cassette and 4 new plugs at 121 thou, MOT from 7/ 2/ 2024 2 advisories, will need front pads soon and rear brake lines have grease or rubbish on them. Push the sports button and it turns in to the "Enterprise" this car has loads of scope for improvements , it has been fun to own, very comfortable down the M-ways, will give you around 45 to the gallon on cruise at 65 mph, And is also CAZ free up and down the country. I bought new front ABS sensors but have not fitted yet and will come with the car. I rattle canned the bonnet with a lace patten to hide the motorway rash, and got rid of a few nasty rust spots here and there. I have advertised it here as i believe this car is now under the category of being a modern classic , and i know out there is some one that will bring this car up to mint condition that has a bit of pep under the bonnet. There is an inherited dent on the passenger front door, and the hazard light button trim is broken, i have not bought one yet to replace it... but can be bought cheap on evil-bay. Will sell for a near sensible offer. Fun and comfortable to drive and is very quick. The rear seats will fold down giving you plenty of cargo space, and the middle of the rear seat has a hatch to store ski's or maybe golf clubs. A real mid range luxury car which turns in to the "Enterprise" when you push down the sports button..! It comes with a folder of history from the first owner who used Saab of Erdington every year from new for services and repairs. I believe there is plenty of life left in the 2. 0t engine and the gear change nice and smooth, and i have always used premium fuel as the Saab manufacturers at the time say their engines are premium engines. Also has 2 keys. 128, 100 MILES This will make a great project for the right person.... rat rod, track car, maybe Santa pod...?
