1954 Rolls Royce Silver Dawn
Here is my exceptional 1954 Rolls Royce Silver Dawn, beautifully finished in Shell Grey, following an older restoration but remaining in superb condition today. At that time, it was the subject of a complete body restoration and the interior was totally retrimmed by Suffolk and Turley using dark blue Connolly hides and best quality dark blue Wilton carpet. The head lining was also replaced using pale grey West of England cloth and all of the interior veneers were replaced and are still in excellent condition. I purchased in 2019 from The Real Car Company in Wales who are well known for handling this style of RR&B. One year later in 2020 I set out on a mission to make this car into one of the very best Silver Dawns for the purpose of a European Tour which sadly I had to be cancelled due to time constraints. The process included the addition of electric power assisted steering and a beautifully installed air-conditioning system and at the same time, in order to improve the car after a period of very little use, special attention was paid to the engine, transmission, driveshaft, bearings, front and rear suspension, brakes, electrics and minor paint blemishes. I have detailed invoices on file with a total spend of £70, 000 for the work carried out in 2020 and we note that the car has travelled less than 500 miles since works were completed and recent service, so all up to date. This car is a rare find in this condition. It just a wonderful car to drive, glides along as a real RR should.
