Something for the fan of proper old-school two-stroke motorbikes in the shape of this 1987 Suzuki RG250 Gamma, which has been created as replica of / tribute to the racing-style RG500's ridden by the late Barry Sheene.
Registered on 1st August on the then-new 'E' plate and finished in red over black the bike has covered just 34, 000 miles from new. Powered by a 247cc two-stroke engine, it has been comprehensively restored over the past few years and is truly superb.
The paint job is excellent, and the graphics have been correctly - and probably expensively - lacquered in and so there will be no peeling or lifting.
It has been run up since the restoration but barely run, and so will benefit from a period of gentle use.
It is Clean Air Zone compliant (but not ULEZ compliant, weirdly) and will come with a full year's MOT.
The looks, the sound and the performance
