2ZZ Conversion, 6 Speed, 210BHP
Newly rebuilt engine less than 3yrs ago by respected race engine specialist. Very low mileage since only used as a weekend car.
The 2ZZ-GE engine is a 1. 8 Toyota unit that is higher revving and much more powerful than the standard engine and was also fitted to several Lotus models.
Owned by me for over two years. When purchased the entire braking system was overhauled including new calipers, discs, Goodridge hoses, pads, genuine Toyota handbrake cables and brake fluid. Plus new steering pump pipework.
Already fitted prior to my purchase: Exedy uprated clutch, new mohair hood, rear wings.
The suspension has Tein lowering springs - 1" Whiteline ARBs with uprated and adjustable drop links, facelift 16" rear wheels with almost as new Yokohama Advan Neova AD08RS tyres, and a new set of wheel nuts.
The bodywork is rust free but the paintwork has the usual bonnet chips, scuffs and some touched up bits but overall has a great gloss and is very good for its age and mileage.
The interior is good with an up to date media player and everything works, all electrics are good and there are no dash lights on.
The engine and clutch have covered less than 5000 miles and together with the gearbox cost £6000 in 2021
A lot of money has been spent on this car and it's a joy to drive but after 11yrs of MR2 Roadsters it's now time for a change.
