Super rare Ducati 450 R/ T Desmo for sale
This bike was imported from the USA, and underwent a full engine rebuild including, all case bearings, gearbox bearings, new piston, barrel honed, new bevel drive etc, in my ownership.
Additionally, I have had the fibreglass tank professionally lined, fitted an Electrexworld electronic ignition system, replaced the original carb with a Dell'orto VHB ( all makes for better starting and running), new purpose made NJB Classic rear shock absorbers.
Bike does not have lights fitted as it is an off road machine, but can be used with daylight MOT use, or lights fitted as new generator has power to do this.
Runs beautifully and with its open stock pipe, is quite loud, but can be fitted with a Conti silencer.
Makes a lovely road bike, and is fitted with road biased tyres accordingly
Registered in my name as first owner in UK, MOT and road tax exempt.

A few spares are available with purchaseDucati built the 450 R/ T to compete in off road racing in the USA at the request of the USA importers, Berliner. Not a great success on the track, so production ceased and numbers produced were thus limited to around 450 bikes.
The R/ T has a single cylinder 450cc engine that uses Ducati's famous Desmodronic valve operating system, with a single bevel driven overhead camshaft.
