Neville Trickett Mini Sprint R
Here we have for sale a beautiful Mini Sprint custom built by the late, great Neville Trickett himself - the pioneer of the type. Using a Mk 5 Shell Neville 'chopped' an inch and a half out of the A, B and C Pillars of the car aswell as from the waistline midway between the door hinges. The roof is also lowered by an inch and the two screens raked inwards to meet it's new position. The car is deseamed all round giving a very low and aerodynamic finish. This is modelled after the Racing version hence the 'R'.
Supsension is all adjustabe the the car is lowered by half an inch giving an overall drop from the standard car of 5 inches.
The logbook records this car as a 1961 Austin Cooper although it has been highly modified from it's original form and little remains of how it was originally. The engine is a 1275cc A+ Block with a Jonspeed Supercharger and Stage II head. A roll cage is fitted, with racing seats and harnesses. All fuel and brake lines are mounted inside the car and there is a KAD internal gear change also.
