Very original SE Special Equipment model with matching numbers and heritage certificate in fabulous un-molested condition with lovely patina. British racing green with suede green interior. Substantial recommissioning carried out in 2012 including the following: overhauled brake system with new pipes, cylinders, linings etc., new wheels, re-cored radiator, electric fan, new Tremec five speed gearbox, new rear springs, new floor boards, complete new interior, new black mohair hood, tonneau & side screens. It has an alloy fuel tank and special stainless steel silencer for long distance fast cruising. Very good panel fit, excellent chrome work and Vredestein tyres. Exported new in 1953 to Hornburg in Los Angeles and remained on the West side of the USA until returned to England in 2011. The car has spent most of its life in dry climate and as a result has minimal corrosion. The XK120 roadster is fantastic drivers car with fabulous soundtrack as well being one of the all time great classic sports cars.
