This car was imported from Northern Australia and completely restored by MX5 Works as their company demo car. I've owned many MX5s and this is by far the most solid I've seen (Outside of maybe one or two trailer queens) and without a doubt, one of the best in the UK.

It's been on UK roads since 2017, where it has always been garaged and never been driven in the rain. Other than some surface rust on some suspension arms, driveshafts etc, it's in exceptional condition and wouldn't look out of place in a car museum.

This car was fully restored by MX5 Works (Still all original metalwork, never welded and doesn't require any) with over 150 hours spent. The work that was carried out to this during this time would easily cost £15, 000+ factoring in all the new parts and labour that went into this, not including purchasing the car to start with

I have lots of pictures of the underside and a video that can be shared. The only MOT fail received was for the cluster not Dual Reading MPH and KMPH (This is a Northern Ireland specific requirement) and now has a new MPH/ KMPH overlay leaving the mileage unaltered.

I intended to keep this much longer as prices for MK1 MX5s are climbing fast (Recently I read they're the fastest appreciating classic car) with values starting around £20, 000 for good examples in Japan and Australia, the UK market seems to be lagging behind slightly, however I'd like to obtain a 1970s Datsun Z Car
