Lancia Delta Intergrale 16v , I imported this car from europe where it has been stood dry stored for some 30+ years , after taking possession the previous owner advised me this was an ex very early Holzer Motorsport recce car which took part in several Rally stages before suffering mechanical problems and subsequently retired . The car was then purchased by a Holzer employee but he passed away after rebuilding the Lancia to where the car is at present, his wife then kept the car hidden away for 12 years . The guy i purchased from, knew the old guy and was a family relation . He also informed me Holzer took possession of some 40 Lancia Deltas straight off the production line for there Rally competition requirements. There are tell tale signs all over the car inc co drivers light , seat belt anchorage points , full Holzer roll cage ; suspension upgrade etc etc . The Bodywork is exactly as the car came out the factory . everywhere is excellent there's no rust present anywhere never welded in its life , which is concurrent with the Factory plastic on Door cards and corners of carpet and the ridiculously low mileage of 9000Kms . There is two Transit damaged panels which are the drivers wing and bottom of drivers door , which are easily repairable . The engine turns over on the bottom pulley freely previous owner informed has been rebuilt there is a new cambelt present on the car . Will need parts bolted up best way to describe , Turbo renewing or refurbing will need an exhaust , i have everything else inc some nos parts , full badge set , grill , Original new indicators, engine ancillaries etc , i also have full suede book pack with a Blank service book . Parcel shelf is as new , seats have minimal wear . 14" original compomotive wheels with new tyres ...... i could go on and on about this delta so please feel free to call evenings between 6-9pm . Obviously not motd ! an easy project for the right person …. Will need recovery moves freely . Not yet registered in the uk easy to do i have the import certificates.
The markets having another wobble !
That said this delta completed can easily be a 35k+ car with minimal money spent . The Delta has only 9000kms on the clock !! Not something you see nowadays .
A project that can only at least hold your £££ but imo will only make you £££ .
Illness prevents completion, my life has changed please no time wasters .
