History
One previous owner who is a local lady we know in our town who had it from new. She had it serviced regularly and did anything that needed doing at Renault dealers then the same local garage. As she is retired, her family didn't need two cars anymore so kindly sold it to us last August when we needed an interim, reliable car for my wife to get the kids to/ from school. We'd just sold our non-ULEZ Volvo so this fitted the bill perfectly. It's been everything we wanted, proving to be very reliable and extremely comfortable. I have taken it up to Birmingham and other long trips and we have had no issues with it at all. Our new Volvo has now arrived so we just don't need two family cars any more as I commut to the City by train, so we are selling on the Renault.
Service history
Comes with a full folder showing all the receipts and a fully stamped service book (see pictures). The previous owner had it serviced annually even though she didn't clock up many miles each year. She kept meticulour logs of when the car was serviced and each time something was replaced, all of which is documented in a folder. The car has about 123, 500 on the clock which over 23 year averages at about 5, 300 per year. She told me they mainly used it for long trips to Devon on holidays. The brake discs and brake pads were replaced a couple of thousand miles ago on all four wheels. I had it serviced a couple of months ago to keep up the service history.

Condition- exterior
Good overall condition with a few scuffs and dings as expected from a 20+ year old car. Paintwork is a lovely shiney metalic silver/ light blue colour and there is no rust at all. Renaults of this era used galvanised steel and some of the panels are plastic so will not rust. I T-cut and polished it recently and wash it regularly.
Condition-interior
Excellent condition interior and, being the top of the range model, comes with half leather seats. No tears or wear on the seats. Carpets are good and it has rubber floor mats to protect the carpets. Leather steeting wheel. The rear seats fold down or can be removed individually to create a massive loading bay. Also has lots of storage areas under the floor, front seats etc.
Child-friendly features:
Comes with factory fitted fold down tables with cup holders on the back of the front seats and retractable sun shades on the rear windows. Seats are tall so kids have a good view of the outside via very large windows.
Engine/ gearbox
This is a 1600cc , 16 valve car with about 110 horsepower. It's a good mix of performance and economy and has 5 gears so great on motorways. It is ULEZ compliant.
Driving experience
Starts, stops and drives beautifully. No knocks and rattles and it feels very safe and solid. Disc brakes all round stop if nicely and the power steering make it easy to park. It's not a large car but the tall seating design makes it extremely spacious and our teenages have lots of room in the back. It has remote door locking via the two key fobs.
Comes with two original keys, owner's manual and service booklet and full file of receipts. The V5 is in my name at our address and shows one previous owner from new. I'm a private seller, not a car dealer. I'm honest and have tried to describe it as best I can. I've sold a few things on Gumtree so you can see my seller rating showing I'm honest and reliable.
So, there we have it, a one-owner, reliable, practical, well maintained family car if you're after a ULEZ compliant mid-size car that won't break the bank.
