The car failed its MOT several years ago on Brakes and Tyres. Since then the brakes have been removed and the wheels have been refurbished and a brand new set of matching tyres fitted. A lot of money has been spent purchasing all the items shown in the photographs that are all included in the sale of the car. this includes all new brake parts, springs, bottom and top arms, drop links, ball joints etc. This and some welding to the passenger side sill are what is required for it to pass its MOT.
Mechanically the car is spot on, it runs beautifully and has clearly been well maintained. Gearbox and drivetrain are also very smooth with no unwanted noises. The interior really is in very good condition and really only wants for the backing to the drivers seat which can be easily sourced. the engine bay is very tidy although the battery tray will need replacing. this can be bought new for about £60
In terms of the exterior of the car there is laquer peel to the roof bonnet and boot lid and several rust spots which will require minor repairs to the bottom of the front wings and to a couple of the doors. The underside of the car is in remarkably good condition everything appearing to be solid when inspected under the ramp.
A previous owner managed to source and fit a complete set of brown tinted glass which looks fantastic in person and really sets the car off although it doesn't really show in the photos very well. To buy this now is an expensive job if you can even source it.
What more to say! whoever buys this car and does the work is going to have a very sorted car and all the parts you need are already included in the sale. I wish I could keep this as its a rare colour in this arctic blue but an e30 sport has come up that I really don't want to miss out on so this has to go to make some room.
