1988 Ford escort 1. 4 LX 5 door hatch in Radiant Red over grey, only having covered 81k from new with a full documented history. having only 1 previous owner from new.
History of car
The car was registered new on the 12th of October 1988 to its owner who's family member worked at the main dealer who supplied it new perry's Ford Essex. it benefited from some nice accessories which it still retains headlamp covers, rear blinds and upgraded steering wheel. when I spoke with the previous owner he had many a found memory using it for family holidays etc and again the car has been endlessly maintained and only came up for sale as the owner could no longer keep her. she is fondly known as MOO due to her number plate. every mot present tax discs, service history including belt changes stem valve seals etc all done. it was serviced every October despite miles. which has been continued. end of November Moo received a cambelt change, distbutor and a webber carb rebuild and tune up at 81, 530. again I don't want to sell this but I have the chance of something very special so I am parting with three cars from my collection as I just can't keep them all. i know this will be another regrettable sale but it must happen at some point. 12 MONTHS MOT SERVICED AND TIMING BELT DONE
