Previous owner regularly enjoyed this E-Type for over 22 years and he set about a full and detailed restoration of Chassis #60 in 2000.
Accompanied by a history file with photographs of the restoration works, invoices, old MOTs, its Jaguar Heritage Certificate and the current V5
Offered with some spares including the original radio (to be installed), fitted car cover and a collection of E-Type literature.
Manufactured in November 1961 and first registered on 1st January 1962, Chassis 860060 is an early ‘flat floor’ example, one of the first 175 Coupes built before the recessed footwells were adopted and one of just 1, 559 right-hand drive, 3. 8 Coupes constructed in total, so rather a rare car in its own right.
Period correct engine number and matching numbers gearbox. The car currently is in lovely usable condition, perfect for a weekend drive but can also be a fantastic starting point for a stunning show winner!
